2018 Velar vs 2017 Evoque Standard Engine Specs
When it comes to engine power and performance, the 2018 Range Rover Velar has a bit of a lead on the 2017 Evoque in everything but fuel economy. The horsepower and torque are slightly higher with the 2.0-liter under the hood of the Velar, but the Evoque's 2.0-liter manages to achieve nearly 30 miles per gallon on the highway, making it the better option for those looking to get the most out of every mile.
However, the Velar's slightly higher starting MSRP does include a few extra interior comforts. Both the Velar and the Evoque come with standard rear parking aid technology, eight-speaker audio system, Bluetooth compatibility and heated front seats. The Velar has the added luxury of a Lane Departure Warning system and an open/close sliding and tilting sunroof in the first and second row. The Evoque's extra features include a voice-activated navigation system, leather-trimmed seating, and an extra interior 12V DC power outlet.
